As an RN Charge, you will function under the direction of the Department Director and Chief Clinical Officer, delivering safe and effective clinical care utilizing the nursing process in the assigned department. We value your skills in patient assessment, response, and documentation, and we encourage you to continue developing your administrative skills to ensure safe patient care, effective communication, and activities that enhance unit efficiency.
As an engaging RN Charge, you will have the opportunity to seek guidance from supervisors and peers as needed and support and contribute to our Quality Assurance Program. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS for the RN Charge - PRN Day Shift at Yoakum Community Hospital:
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
- Currently licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing as a registered nurse
- CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC & TNCC certifications required
- Minimum one year experience preferred
