• Start: Immediate
• Pay Rate: $27/hour (full-time, non-exempt)
• Typical Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Locations: Be willing to travel between elementary and middle schools in Richmond, San Pablo, and El Sobrante (see our map: http://map.ymcayscholars.org)

Does your mission align with ours?

As an Assistant Site Coordinator, you will:

• Partner with your Site Coordinator to serve more than 100 students daily
• Step in as a program leader when needed to ensure smooth operations
• Mentor, coach, and inspire your team members
• Support onboarding and training for new staff
• Observe, assess, and strengthen program quality
• Track data to highlight student growth and program success
• Bring creativity and fresh ideas to after-school learning
• Help plan and lead special events that celebrate youth and community

Requirements

• 2 years of youth development or program leadership experience
• 48 college units or completion of the Instructional Aid (IA) Exam
• Reliable transportation (for trainings and meetings)
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with tech tools like Google Drive, AirTable, and Zoom
• Certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention within 30 days of hire
• A Growth Mindset with eagerness to learn, adapt, and inspire others

• Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to supervise program activities

• Mobility to quickly respond to emergencies
