Job Title: Housing and Grants Manager
Status: Full-Time (Hourly, Non-Exempt)
Pay Rate: $26.44 – $28.85 per hour (equivalent to $55,000 – $60,000 annually)

POSITION SUMMARY
The Housing and Grants Manager plays a critical role in supporting the YMCA of Yonkers’ housing program operations and funding compliance infrastructure. This position ensures strong coordination between resident services, administrative processes, and program reporting requirements to support housing stability and program accountability.
This role oversees the administrative coordination of the YMCA’s Single Room Occupancy (SRO) housing program, ensuring that all tenant records, lease documentation, and subsidy processes are accurate, organized, and compliant. The role works in close partnership with the Housing Case Manager to support resident stability through effective documentation and administrative systems.
In addition, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate and reliable data systems within Daxko Core to track program participation, services, and outcomes. These systems support required reporting, documentation, and compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
Working under the supervision of the Director of Development and Communications, this role ensures that housing operations and program data are structured, compliant, and audit-ready.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Housing Administration and Cross-Team Coordination
- Manage administrative coordination of the YMCA’s 75-unit SRO housing program
- Maintain lease documentation, renewals, and tenant records for month-to-month occupancy
- Track rental payments, arrears, and supporting documentation
- Maintain organized and compliant tenant files
- Work in partnership with the Housing Case Manager to:
- Ensure alignment between resident services and administrative documentation
- Support accurate tracking of resident status and program participation
- Maintain consistent communication across housing functions
- Serve as administrative liaison with:
- Department of Social Services (DSS)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and other subsidy providers
- Support documentation related to tenant eligibility, benefits, and housing status
- Coordinate with legal counsel on housing-related documentation, including court-related matters
- Communicate effectively with residents, including Spanish-speaking individuals
Program Data Tracking, Reporting, and Development Support
- Maintain and oversee internal data systems within Daxko Core to track program participation, services, and outcomes
- Ensure all program data is entered, reviewed, and updated weekly
- Work with the Director of Development and Communications to:
- Track program outputs, outcomes, and performance indicators
- Support reporting requirements tied to funding sources
- Ensure data integrity for external reporting
- Prepare and support submission of program reports, invoices, and required documentation
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and records
Program Funding and Documentation Coordination
- Track program deliverables, milestones, and reporting deadlines
- Support alignment between program implementation and funding requirements
- Coordinate with program and finance staff to ensure accurate documentation of services and expenditures
- Maintain organized and accessible funding records
Program Operations and Coordination
- Work collaboratively across internal teams to support program coordination
- Support systems that improve tracking, organization, and accountability
- Assist with maintaining structured documentation across programs

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required (Public Administration, Human Services, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in housing administration, program coordination, or nonprofit operations
- Experience working with subsidy programs (DSS, SSI) strongly preferred
- Experience with program reporting, compliance, or data tracking systems preferred
- Experience with CRM or program tracking systems preferred (Daxko Core strongly preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hours per week)
- Includes a 30-minute unpaid meal break
- Occasional flexibility required based on program needs
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to work in office and housing environments with regular interaction with residents and staff
- Ability to manage administrative systems for extended periods
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
- Ability to travel locally as needed
