Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students in grades K–3 with reading practice and literacy activities
- Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to build confidence
- Follow lesson plans and guidance provided by YReads staff
- Help students with pronunciation, comprehension, and vocabulary
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Communicate student progress or concerns to program coordinators
Training & Support:
- Orientation and training provided by YMCA staff
- Ongoing support and resources available
