- Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Kinesiology, or related field preferred
- Previous aquatic programming leadership and staff supervision experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Lead daily aquatic operations and facility management
- Oversee lifeguards, swim instructors, coaches, and aquatic staff
- Conduct staff trainings, emergency drills, and risk management initiatives
- Serve as a Lifeguard Instructor Trainer (LGIT) for our association
- Develop and grow aquatic programs including swim lessons, water fitness, and special events
- Oversee association wide aquatics risk management – in-service trainings, certifications, safety audits, emergency drills, etc.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
- Build strong relationships with members, families, and the community
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding/CPR/AED/First Aid certification required
- Lifeguard Instructor Trainer (LGIT) certification required or ability to obtain within 6-12 months
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
