Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- EPA 608 Certification (required)
- At least 1 year of HVAC experience
- Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and boiler systems
- Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical issues independently
- Valid U.S. driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and YMCA values
As an HVAC Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping our facilities operating safely and efficiently by:
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC, heating, cooling, refrigeration, and boiler systems
- Performing preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
- Reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Maintaining accurate service records and maintenance logs
- Ensuring compliance with EPA and safety standards
- Assisting with general maintenance projects as needed
- Providing exceptional service to guests and fellow team members
