The YMCA of the Sunbelt is seeking a mission-driven Executive Director to lead our expanding YMCA presence in Bainbridge Georgia.
Job Description
The Executive Director will provide visionary leadership, operational excellence, and community presence to ensure that the Bainbridge YMCA continues to grow in impact, membership, and financial strength. This leader will oversee branch operations, staff and volunteer engagement, program innovation, fundraising, and community partnerships in alignment with the YMCA of the Sunbelt's mission to build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivelent experience required;masters degree preferred.
At least 5-7 years of progressively responsible leadership experience, including supervision of staff and budgets; YMCA or non profit experience required.
Demonstrated success in membership or revenue growth, fundraising and community partnerships
Strong communicator and relationship-builder with the ability to inspire staff, volunteers and community stake holders.
Alignment with and enthusiasm for the Christian Mission and values of the YMCA
Essential Functions
Lead overall operations, programs, finances and staff across all Bainbridge YMCA facilities
Drive membership growth, program participation, and community engagement, building on the branch's strong momentum
Develop, Coach, and empower a high performing staff team that reflects the YMCA's values and culture
Build and sustain relationships with community leaders, schools, churches, businesses and civic partners
Lead annual fundraising, sponsorships, grants, and donor relations in partnership with association leadership and board
Ensure operational excellence in budget management, safety, facilities, and compliance with standards
