We are seeking a passionate and organized Family Membership Coordinator to help create meaningful experiences that connect families to our YMCA community.
This role enhances the value of family memberships through leadership of Kids Club programming, coordination of family events, and delivery of engaging member experiences. The Family Membership Coordinator plays a key role in fostering a welcoming environment where families feel connected, supported, and inspired to participate.
Position SummaryThe Family Membership Coordinator supports family engagement by overseeing Kids Club operations, coordinating family-focused programs and events, and serving as a welcoming resource for members. This position helps ensure families experience a high-quality, inclusive, and community-centered YMCA environment.
Essential Functions Kids Club Coordination- Oversee daily Kids Club operations to ensure a safe, engaging, and high-quality experience for participating children
- Create and manage staff schedules to maintain appropriate coverage and consistent program delivery
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and day-to-day supervision of Kids Club staff
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the Kids Club experience as a valuable member benefit
- Coordinate and deliver family-focused programs and special events, including school vacation week activities
- Collaborate with YMCA departments to provide engaging opportunities aligned with YMCA values and community needs
- Build positive relationships with families while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Support promotion and communication efforts to increase participation and engagement
- Serve as a welcoming point of contact for families in person, by phone, and electronically
- Provide clear, responsive communication and support a positive member experience
- Address questions, gather feedback, and respond to family needs in a timely and professional manner

Must be at least 21 years of age.

At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Must demonstrate appropriate knowledge of child growth and development.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Must maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification.

Must have excellent verbal communication skills and a desire to serve the community.
