Become a Lifeguard
What You'll Do:
As a YMCA Lifeguard, you'll:

Keep swimmers safe by enforcing pool rules and safety guidelines

Stay rescue-ready and respond confidently to emergencies

Monitor pool areas and assist with aquatic activities

Assess swimmers' abilities to ensure a safe environment

Participate in paid training and shadow shifts
-
(For Swim Instructors) Teach fun, structured lessons using the YUSA curriculum

- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Current certifications in Lifeguard/Swim Instructor, Pro CPR, First Aid and Oxygen, or willing to obtain
- Seeking applicants with daytime availability interested in summer season employment, anticipated start date in May or June, sooner if available!

Salary : $19 - $21
