Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education, social work, or related field preferred.
- Experience working with youth in educational, recreational, or community settings.
- Ability to communicate effectively with youth, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Basic knowledge of child development principles and youth behavior management techniques.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within youth programs or extended learning environments.
- Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, to effectively engage with diverse community members.
