The YMCA of the Chippewa Valley is hiring Before & After School Child Care Staff for the 2026 Fall Semester and beyond!

This is the perfect opportunity for college students, education majors, future teachers, or anyone who enjoys working with children.

What You'll Do:

Every day is different! As a Before & After School Child Care Staff member, you'll help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children ages 5-12 can learn, play, and grow.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct supervision of children before and after school
• Leading games, crafts, physical activities, and educational experiences
• Building positive relationships with children and families
• Serving as a positive role model while promoting the YMCA's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility
• Helping children build confidence, friendships, and lifelong memories
• Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for every child

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience working with children is preferred, but not required. We'll provide training!
• Positive attitude, reliability, and enthusiasm
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
