Lifeguards
Help ensure the safety of all swimmers while maintaining a positive and welcoming pool environment. Lifeguards monitor activities, respond to emergencies, and uphold YMCA safety standards. Certification preferred, but training opportunities may be available.
Swim Instructors
Teach swimmers of all ages and abilities using the YMCA swim lesson curriculum. Build confidence, teach life-saving skills, and create a fun learning environment for participants and families.
Aqua Aerobics Instructors
Lead engaging water fitness classes for adults. Encourage participants, create a welcoming atmosphere, and help individuals improve their health and wellness through aquatic exercise.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Current certifications preferred for applicable positions
- Commitment to YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility
