The following position is currently available:
POSITION NAME: Youth Basketball official
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision and guidance of the Sports Director, the Youth Basketball Referee is responsible for officiating youth basketball games at the Okmulgee County Family YMCA.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiar with the rules of basketball and the modified rules used by the YMCA.
- Must be able to communicate with Coaches to get games started promptly.
- Must be able to communicate schedule conflicts with supervisor.
- Must be able to remain calm in a stressful competitive atmosphere.
- Must pass CPR/AED/1st Aid certification by an approved provider within 30 days from original date of hire and maintain while employed.
