Peer Parent Partner (PPP)

Peer Parent Partners provide peer-to-peer support, advocacy, and systems navigation for families involved with the child welfare and/or juvenile probation systems. This is a paid, supervised role focused on helping families understand processes, access resources, and feel supported as they move through complex systems.
You do not need to be a parent. Candidates should have lived, professional, or community-based experience with the systems families are navigating and bring strong boundaries, empathy, and reliability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting families through peer mentorship and advocacy
- Helping families understand systems, meetings, and next steps
- Accompanying families to meetings or court when appropriate
- Collaborating with county and community partners
- Participating in training, supervision, and documentation
