We're looking for enthusiastic group fitness instructors to teach what they love — whether that's Zumba, yoga, HIIT, Pilates, strength training, dance, cycling, or another format entirely. If you're certified and passionate about helping people move, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
- Plan and lead group exercise classes incorporating warm-ups, core activity, and cool-downs
- Set up equipment before class and store it securely afterward
- Create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for members of all fitness levels
- Track class attendance and note new or absent participants
- Maintain safety in all classes following YMCA and national certification guidelines
- Keep up with fitness trends and continuing education requirements
- Communicate any safety concerns, equipment issues, or incidents to management promptly
- Use provided microphone equipment during class
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- One or more of the following qualifications:
- National group fitness certification: ACE, AFAA, NCSM, or equivalent
- Specialty format training: Zumba, YogaFit, RYT 200/500, Pilates, Les Mills, Piloxing, or similar
- A warm, encouraging teaching style that connects with participants of all fitness levels
- Ability to pass an audition with our fitness director — a friendly, low-pressure opportunity to show your teaching style
Salary : $17 - $21
