This key positon will be responsible and accountable for assisting in all aspects of the aquatics department activities and events.

Responsibilities
- Play a key role in planning, some managing, and implementing of all departmental programs and activities.
- Assists and participates in marketing and special events to engage the community.
- Help oversee departmental operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Assists in interviewing, scheduling, disciplining, and supervising qualified staff.
- Keep organized records of program participants to support growth and engagement.
- Assists in staff meetings.
- Work alongside the center team, encouraging a positive and productive work environment.
- Notify appropriate staff of any unsafe conditions, needed repairs, complaints, accidents, or injuries immediately.
- Assist in providing leadership of the Annual Mission Campaign.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum three years experience in this or a related field.
- Current YMCA or American Red Cross Lifeguard certification*.
- American Red Cross certifications*:
- Current First Aid.
- Current CPRPro (includes AED).
- Current Emergency Oxygen.
- Perform and pass rescue skills.
- Able to relate to people on all levels in a friendly and consistent manner.
*Paid training is available.
