What are the responsibilities and job description for the Copy Of Facilities Technician - ME Lyons YMCA position at YMCA of Greater Cincinnati?
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall hands on coordination and implementation of maintenance planning, preventative programs and annual improvement plans for facilities & grounds. Keeps facility plans updated.
- Use and follow work order system to obtain daily, weekly tasks to be completed.
- Assist with Annual Plan projects as assigned, which may include coordinating projects with subcontractors.
- Assist branch staff in vehicle maintenance and operation in accordance with Association policies and procedures.
- Assist building staff and outside vendor housekeeping services with facility cleanliness, addressing areas of concern in order to maintain cleanliness standards during all times of operation.
- Keep facilities and property operating at its peak by ordering and assisting building staff to track all necessary supplies, communicating and advising staff of issues, and implementing systems to address issues.
- Assist with the daily operation of swimming pools beyond the daily chemical checks i.e., balancing of chemicals, equipment repair and general pool maintenance and upkeep.
- Develop and implement risk management program addressing safe handling practices of all equipment and chemicals and ensure the safety of employees, members and guest when utilizing the facilities and property.
- Assist in developing occupancy budget to support preventive and annual maintenance plans. Monitor expenditures accordingly.
- Assist in annual fundraising campaign and special events.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of experience in facility management.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of housekeeping, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry and other maintenance related skills with the ability to perform minor repairs. Includes ability to paint, remove snow and landscape. Swimming pool operation experience a plus.
- Required to have and maintain Certified Pool Operators Certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Proven experience with budget management and must have basic computer skills.
- Required to have a current driver’s license and ability to regularly travel to a variety of sites.
