What You’ll Do
- Lead the Fun: Oversee and coordinate amazing, licensed child care programs that are safe, fun, and engaging for kids.
- Be the Expert: Ensure our programs meet all standards – from YMCA policies to state licensing and accreditation requirements.
- Make a Difference: Facilitate fun, social, and interactive activities, and adapt them to meet each child’s needs.
- Be a Leader: Play a key role in shaping quality child care programs and supporting our community.
- Make an Impact: Help children grow, learn, and have a blast while you contribute to their development.
- Great Pay: Enjoy a competitive hourly wage while working in a fulfilling and supportive environment.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required. Must be 18 years old with Highschool Diploma or GED.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in administration and guiding staff, and 6 months in child care.
- Skills: Strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to provide clear guidance to a diverse team.
- Knowledge: Understanding of how to effectively work with children, and familiarity with state licensing and accreditation rules is a plus.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is a must.
