Job Responsibilities:
- Provides high quality, safe and motivating training based on individual needs and feedback; provides adaptations based on individual needs.
- Performs orientations to create opportunities to attract clients for Personal Training
- Increases member retention by providing personalized member experiences and building positive relationships with and among members, staff, volunteers and/or guests. Creates a supportive and uplifting community environment.
- Facilitates the development of small communities, helping members to connect with other members.
- Ensures the safety of all members and guests.
- Helps keep the fitness center organized and clean
- Any other tasks designated by the Fitness Director
Position Skills and Experience :
- Current Personal Trainer certification and at least one year experience in a personal training role.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Requires knowledge of fitness program development, conditioning principles, and exercise physiology.
- Flexibility in scheduling is preferred in creating schedule. Be able to maintain schedule.
- Proficient using a computer
- Ability to follow directions work independently and in a team / group setting
- Pay based on experience
