The YMCA is where WORK IS PLAY! Are you ready to lead a team and make a big impact in the lives of children? The East YMCA is looking for a dynamic and passionate School Age Child Care Site Supervisor to join our team!
What Youll Do:
- Lead the Fun: Oversee and coordinate amazing, licensed child care programs that are safe, fun, and engaging for kids.
- Be the Expert: Ensure our programs meet all standards from YMCA policies to state licensing and accreditation requirements.
- Make a Difference: Facilitate fun, social, and interactive activities, and adapt them to meet each childs needs.

What Were Looking For:
- Education: Must be Lead Teacher qualified (80 hours of Child Development)
- A Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred but not required. Must be 18 years old with Highschool Diploma or GED.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in administration and guiding staff, and 6 months in child care.
- Skills: Strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to provide clear guidance to a diverse team.
- Knowledge: Understanding of how to effectively work with children, and familiarity with state licensing and accreditation rules is a plus.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is a must.
