The YMCA is an approved Pilot Site for Preschool For All starting in the Fall of 2024. Preschool For All is a Multnomah County funded program looking to connect 3 and 4 year olds with free, culturally responsive, inclusive preschool experiences.

Job Responsibilities:
A Teacher will work in the program under the guidance and instruction of the Lead Teacher and Site Director. Responsibilities include assisting lead staff in maintaining a safe and developmentally appropriate classroom environment, implementing a fun and engaging curriculum, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and the community.
Requirements
- Pass a YMCA Background Check
- Meet all Teacher's Aide or Teacher standards as dictated by Oregon's Department of Early Learning and Care and Preschool for All including reaching a Step 4 or higher in the Oregon Registry - Please include this with your application if possible
- Current enrollment in the Oregon State Childcare Registry or ability to enroll prior to employment.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- Current Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- At least 18 years of age
