FULL & PART TIME POSITONS:
Position Summary:
Delivers excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants. Responds to member and guest needs, promotes memberships and programs, and maintains cleanliness and organization of the lobby area.
Essential Functions:
1. Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the Y and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
2. Accurately process and receipt all transactions following YMCA procedures.
3. Conduct interviews and/or tours responsive to the needs of prospective members; sells memberships.
4. Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and the YMCA.
5. Handles and resolves membership concerns and informs supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues.
6. Applies all YMCA policies dealing with member services.
7. Maintains required certifications.
8. Attends staff meetings and trainings.
9. Follows all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures. Completes reports as necessary.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum age of 16 with 2 years of high school.
2. Previous customer service, sales or related experience.
3. CPR, Basic First Aid and AED required within 90 days of hire.
4. Attend Listen First and Understanding Health Seekers training within 120 days of employment.
5. Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
6. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
7. Knowledge of computers.
