We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team. We offer a four-day work week, Monday through Thursday, a modern climate-controlled fabrication facility and a great benefits plan including four weeks off first year, plus 12 holidays, 401k match and tuition reimbursement. Give us a call
Responsibilities:
- May perform any or all the following fabrication aspects of building custom packaged systems including pipe fitting/welding, structural fabrication/welding, tube bending, and system assembly.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by continually attending training classes/seminars/sessions as required.
- Ensures customer satisfaction regarding quality and timely service.
- Trains with and assists fabricators with both repairs and new equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Fabrication Manager.
Required Experience & Knowledge:
- Demonstrated solid mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read, interpret and adhere to documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to read and analyze P&ID's, blueprints, schematics, and other related engineering documents.
- Knowledge of ASME-BPE standards and implementation.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 4 yrs. related experience.
- Fully proficient in all areas required of Fabricator II, including Passivating, Auto/Orbital Welding, Line Fabricating, tube bending, ISO's (3D cad and hand sketches), etc.
- Stainless process piping experience preferred.
Equipment used in the position:
- Tungsten inert gas welder, Bandsaw, Plasma cutter
- Various powered and non-powered hand tools

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and welding arc flash, moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
