Independent Maintenance Contractor – Rental Properties (Buffalo, NY)Hiring Immediately
We are seeking an experienced Independent Maintenance Contractor to perform repairs and maintenance for a growing portfolio of residential rental properties throughout the Buffalo, NY area.
This is an independent contractor (1099) position.
Compensation
- Paid per job
- Consistent volume of work available
- Opportunity to transition into a regular weekly salary/maintenance position for the right person if desired
Responsibilities
- General residential maintenance and repairs
- Plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, drains, etc.)
- Basic electrical work (switches, outlets, light fixtures)
- Drywall repair, painting, and patching
- Lock changes and minor carpentry
- Appliance troubleshooting and installation
- Unit turnovers and punch-list items
- Meeting inspectors
Requirements
- Experience maintaining residential rental properties
- Own vehicle and tools
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and complete jobs in a timely manner
- Professional communication and reliable follow-through
- Must be legally able to work as an independent contractor (1099)
