Job Title: Key Account Technology Director
Location: Fremont, CA
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and manage a team of process development engineers for YES Key Accounts
- Manage HW, Process, Demo and Device development activities for Key Accounts
- Manage a team that performs CIPs and development projects for key customers that enable their particular applications and device performance of our equipment.
- Create, plan, and meet Key Account project schedules.
- Manager Key Account demos of new processes and report performance.
- Interface with account team and customers to understand and solve their problems
- Establish, develop and grow strong relationships with key account teams and customers.
- Actively identify and develop new accounts for all YES products and services.
- Contribute to a strong KAT team to deliver on Key Account specs, deliverables, performance and technology
- Establish and manage functions and processes that support overall KAT activities.
- Maintain alignment between the account team and all the various teams including account team within YES through a collaborative work approach that engenders an inclusive culture.
- Ensure alignment between the KAT organization and the needs of key accounts.
- Proficient in Key Account device requirements, device performance and the development required to meet device specs
- Contribute to a team culture that is consistent with the overall YES culture.
- Maintain an attitude of continuous learning, while practicing the art of effectively “positioning” the various YES offerings in the context of customer needs and competitive and/or substitute offerings.
- Contribute to the overall sales and account strategy for the KA organization.
- Help in achieving budgeted/targeted sales for Key Accounts
- Integrate marketing programs into the overall sales effort to accomplish Key Account objectives.
- Ensure the Opportunity Development team is expert in key account management and building productive relationships in client accounts.
Additional Responsibilities
- Represent the “voice of the customer” in all internal strategy and tactical discussions or activities.
- Monitor the allocation of resources across this portfolio of account opportunities.
- Play a key role in structuring commercial relationships with key accounts that span multiple product and service offerings.
- Work collaboratively with all business functions to meet overall sales objectives.
- Follow the account targeting and sales process.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS/Ph.D. in Material Science, Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics or related areas
- Experience in semiconductor fab or semiconductor equipment industries
- Experience in thermal processing, CVD deposition, and plasma cleaning preferred
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of personnel including Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support.
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to learn fast and work independently to develop new processes, analyze data, and solve process or device issues.
- Previous project management experience is a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be willing to travel internationally and domestically up to 25% of the time for system training, process installation, and qualification.
- Semiconductor Device experience is a plus
- At least 10 years’ relevant experience within the semiconductor capital equipment space.
- Documented track record of success in “solution selling” for large capital equipment.
- Existing relationships with leading semiconductor OEMs.
- Track record of strategic and operational excellence when managing key accounts roadmap and technology activities, including driving work streams that require a high degree of cross functional collaboration.

- Dynamic, self-motivated, and proactive approach to taking on challenging assignments.
