- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations on food and beverage options
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly
- Serve food and beverages to guests with efficiency and attention to detail
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and condiments
- Process payments accurately using POS systems like OpenTable
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with setting up and breaking down tables as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food handling procedures is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
