- Project-based communications support
- Responsible for drafting materials, op-eds, articles, and speeches for the Office of the President
Position Responsibilities
- Draft speeches, op-eds, articles, scholarly Jewish articles, business communications, donor communications, and other written materials for the Office of the President
- Manage writing projects from start to finish, including establishing timelines, incorporating edits, proofreading final materials, and preparing them for submission
- Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the writing process, respond to feedback, and incorporate revisions in a timely manner.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and proactively communicating project status to ensure work remains on track
- Produce high-quality written materials tailored to a variety of audiences, including internal, external, academic, business, donor, and published communications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in writing, communications, or a related field
- Experience writing speeches, articles, business communications, donor communications, and other materials for a variety of audiences
- Superior writing, editing, and proofreading experience
- Experience working on tight deadlines and presenting quality drafts
- Experience writing for different audiences (internal, external, published articles)
- Demonstrated ability to assimilate complex information, understand multifaceted concepts, and translate these into compelling prose
