Wedding Day Content Creator is looking for a talented, reliable, and creative freelance associate to join our team!

We specialize in capturing the candid, behind-the-scenes moments of a wedding day through elevated, story-driven social content. The ideal candidate is a true digital storyteller who loves weddings, understands social media, and can confidently capture both the big moments and the meaningful details in between.

This is a freelance, project-based position—not a full-time role. Most events take place on weekends throughout New York City and the surrounding Tri-State area.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality, vertical iPhone content throughout wedding days and related events
• Tell each couple’s story through intentional, emotional, and visually engaging footage
• Follow wedding timelines, creative direction, shot lists, and brand standards
• Work collaboratively and respectfully alongside wedding planners, photographers, videographers, and other vendors
• Remain calm, professional, and solutions-oriented in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Edit social content using apps such as CapCut when required
• Represent Wedding Day Content Creator with discretion, warmth, and professionalism

The Ideal Candidate

• Lives in New York City or just outside the city
• Has a reliable car and is comfortable traveling throughout the Tri-State area
• Has previous event content creation experience; wedding experience is strongly preferred
• Is proficient in CapCut and other social content editing apps
• Has a strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, current social trends, and visual storytelling
• Is comfortable working long wedding days—often eight to twelve or more hours on their feet
• Is available to work Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and occasional holidays
• Can commit to wedding dates well in advance and treat every accepted booking as a firm professional commitment
• Is comfortable signing an independent contractor agreement and NDA
• Is dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, discreet, and comfortable working under pressure
• Genuinely loves love, weddings, and preserving meaningful moments for others

Please Note

Because this role provides access to confidential client information, internal processes, training, and established industry relationships, it is not a fit for someone who currently operates or intends to launch their own wedding content creation business. We are looking for someone who is excited to create as part of the Wedding Day Content Creator team and grow within our established brand.

Compensation

Compensation is on an hourly rate ranging from $35-$65 per hour based on experience
