ROLE
The Resort Runner provides essential support across multiple departments to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts in proper uniform, including nametags and with a great Smile.
- Provide superb customer and professional service regardless of guest demeanor, with company service standards.
- Follow all Safety and Security procedures to protect and ensure the safety of our guests, employees and assets.
- Proactively assist all guests with luggage during registration and check out.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule based on business needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, entrances, and back-of-the house areas.
- Support housekeeping and operations teams with supply delivery and set up.
- Deliver guest requested items such as towels and amenities.
- Perform all other job requests as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge on handling devices and radios.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (e.g. luggage, supplies, bed linens).
- At least 16 years of age.
- Professional appearance that is clean, natural, polished, and professional.
- Effective communication skills and proficient oral and written English language skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to bend, kneeling and stretching most of the working day.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration and air quality.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
- Must be able to carry luggage, supplies, and linens up and down several flights of stairs.
- Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 to 70lbs constantly.
