The Parts Sales Professional is a proactive, customer focused role dedicated to delivering complete, solutions driven support that keeps equipment operating reliably. Rather than simply filling orders, this position actively engages customers through outbound calls, relationship building, and attentive service; to identify their needs before downtime occurs. The Parts Sales Professional serves as a knowledgeable partner, helping customers select the right parts, fluids, and accessories to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time. Through exceptional communication, problem solving, and a proactive approach, this role enhances the customer experience, drives equipment uptime, and strengthens long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
Provide professional, solutions-focused service at the parts counter and via phone, email, and text
Identify customer needs and recommend complete parts solutions, including alternatives when appropriate
Ensuring customers leave the counter with everything needed to complete the service or repair the first time.
Daily follow up on open quotes, open orders, and will-call items to ensure timely resolution
Daily customer outreach through assigned customer accounts and inactive customer cold calling.
Build rapport quickly and create a positive customer experience
Support Service Technicians with timely and accurate parts fulfillment. While also maintaining communication throughout the duration of the work order.
Work collaboratively with Parts, Service, and Sales teams

Year over year average order value (AOV) growth through purposeful cross-selling and upselling
Open quote conversion percentageInactive customer conversion percentage
Complete account coverage ever 90 days on 100% of assigned accounts
What it takes – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective time / schedule management skills
Strong knowledge in heavy equipment functional systems (hydraulic, engine, powertrain systems)
Willingness to participate in company training including coaching and training related to sales processes and effective communication methods.
Ability to participate in Saturday store coverage and on call rotations.
Ability to comply and operate within the company core values (Teamwork, Integrity, Perseverance).
Preferred
3-5 years sales process experience
3-5 years heavy equipment experience
