Hours: Monday–Friday as publicly posted. Additional hours as required.

Position Purpose

The Machine Monitoring Specialist is responsible for reviewing and responding to incoming diagnostic trouble code alerts with the goal of proactively supporting customers and locations regarding equipment performance issues. This role collaborates closely with the Service, Sales, and Parts Departments to ensure timely communication, coordinated action, and high‑quality customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming diagnostic trouble code alerts generated through IATC, Service Center, and JDLink.
• Initiate communication regarding alerts through appropriate channels, including customers, Sales, Service, and Parts teams.
• Promote and uphold company policies at all times, fostering a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service across all interactions and departments.
• Establish and maintain processes for detecting, communicating, and resolving emerging technical issues.
• Utilize remote diagnostic tools to capture machine data, including codes, readings, recordings, and software information.
• Prepare and communicate clear, actionable recommendations to relevant Service Departments to address equipment abnormalities.
• Collaborate with dealer personnel, as well as Deere DTAC and Deere MHMC, to share information and develop action plans addressing identified issues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong computer proficiency and effective time‑management skills.
• Ability to build positive working relationships with internal teams and customers.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
• Applicant must pass a physical drug screening and possess a driver's license.
