What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Manager position at Yavapai Gaming Agency?
Responsibilities: Responsible for meeting annual operating budgets and YGA Key perofrmance indicators (KPI) as identified, establishing and maintaining departmental internal controls and job instructions as necessary to ensure cleanliness and good appearance of all applicable YGA facilities, establishing and reviewing work assignment schedules and employee requests for Paid Time Off, preparing and conducting performance evaluations for personnel as assigned on the prescribed interval, and reviewing perofrmance evaluations prepared by subordinate personnel where applicable, monitoring and taking action where necessary regarding employee accuracy and efficiency, and Compact violation reports, recommending personnel hiring, termination, promotion and disciplinary actions to the Executive Operations Director and/or Human Resources Department, coordinating with the Training Department regarding training requirments, on-the-job programs and scheduling, coordinating with all other YGA Departments as required to ensure efficient, cooperative operation of the business, handling employee and gues disputes and attempt to resolve without the necessity of involving Casino Management, coordinating with Purchasing regarding supply requirements, coaching and working with key personnel to help them perform accurately and efficiently, and to provide superior guest service, and conducting periodic one-on-one meetings/working sessions with key personnel.
Requirements: Must be 18 years or older to apply. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to the Tribal/Gaming’s Drug and Alcohol policy. Must adhere to all Tribal/Gaming Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong orientation to excellent guest service. Must be self-reliant and capable of working independently as appropriate or necessary. Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and be insurable under the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe's auto insurance carrier. Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must be a dependable, mature individual. Must have general computer, email, Word and Excel skills. Must pay accurate attention to detail. Must be able to lift and periodically carry up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work flexible hours.
Preferred Requirements: Prefer associate's degree in business management or related field. Prefer minimum of three years' managerial experience.
Full-time, benefited position, starting rate $45,134 -$60,029. Must pass a background security check prior to and during the course of employment. Open until filled.
