We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The Patient Coordinator will be the first point of contact for patients, handling scheduling, documentation, and communication with both patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar effectively.
- Utilize EHR systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks.
- Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and managing multi-line phone systems.
- Handle medical collections as necessary while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Support front desk operations by managing patient flow and addressing inquiries promptly.
Requirements
- Bilingual fluency (Spanish/English
- Familiarity with plastic surgery terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in EHR systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; typing proficiency is required (10 key typing experience is a plus).
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
