Key Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and scale recipes accurately
- Perform basic and advanced knife cuts with precision
- Execute core cooking techniques (searing, sautéing, grilling, frying, poaching, roasting, stock making)
- Set up and stock prep stations prior to service; keep stations clean and organized
- Prepare components of menu items—chopping vegetables, cutting meats, making sauces
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards; ensure proper storage and handling
- Assist with inventory/restocking as needed
- Work closely with the Chef team and communicate issues promptly
- Noise
- Exposure to fumes, odors, dust, and hazards (e.g., extreme temperatures, slippery/uneven surfaces)
