The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for oversight of the Front of House (FOH) operation and complete management of the FOH team. This role is accountable for achieving Yarzin Sella's objectives and goals while fostering and promoting the company's brand and initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Align with the Site Manager to build a strong working relationship; identify and integrate value-added programs that promote best practices and develop strong leadership among kitchen leaders.
Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and operational productivity in the Front of House. Keep the Site Manager informed on high-level matters, escalate issues as required, and guide, build, and operate the Yarzin Sella operation.
Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and programs; ensure all monthly training and compliance requirements are completed by their deadlines.
Provide weekly and monthly reporting metrics to the Site Manager in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness of all Front of House areas to specified standards; escalate matters to the General Manager or HR as needed.
Participate in interviews and other assigned managerial tasks; submit recommendations to the Site Manager for final approval.
Collaborate with the café admin team to develop future Meta FTE Engagement programs and guest experience opportunities.
Complete monthly and annual performance evaluations for FOH Team Members and FOH Supervisors.
Salary ranges: $70-73,000 a year.

Requirements
What You Bring
- 3–5 years leadership experience in hospitality/restaurant operations and general management
- Experience with team building, forecasting, and staffing management
- Strong communication, prioritization, and people leadership skills
- A guest-first mindset with calm, solutions-oriented operating style
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Food Handler’s Permit ServSafe Manager Certification
- Able to stand/walk up to 8 hours; lift up to 30 lbs
