Role Description:
The Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Erie, PA responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the branch. This position manages staff scheduling and performance, coordinates landscape and snow removal projects, and ensures quality and safety standards are met in the field. The Branch Manager monitors budgets, controls costs, and supports revenue growth through effective planning and customer relationship management. Day-to-day tasks include supervising crews, resolving operational issues, reviewing job progress, and collaborating with office staff to maintain accurate documentation and timely billing. The role also involves developing local business opportunities, promoting Yardmaster’s services, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in branch, operations, or project management within landscaping, construction, or a related field.
- Knowledge of landscape design, horticulture, grounds maintenance, and snow removal practices.
- Ability to lead, coach, and support diverse teams, with strong staff scheduling and performance management skills.
- Proficiency in basic business operations, including budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.
- Strong customer service orientation and skill in building and maintaining client relationships.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate work across field and office teams.
- Comfort with using scheduling, project management, or CRM software, and general computer applications.
