Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to enhance landscape appearance
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Maintain and repair landscaping features like hardscapes, irrigation systems, and garden beds
- Conduct snow plowing and removal operations using snow blowers, plows, and other snow removal equipment to ensure clear pathways during winter weather
- Identify issues in support healthy landscape growth and proper plant management
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements
- Prior outdoor work experience or hands-on experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and snow removal machinery
- Familiarity with pesticide management techniques and willing to obtain license.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment or lawn care machinery safely and effectively
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced setting
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
