Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) based in Craig, CO. The LPN will provide direct patient care, monitor patient health, administer medications, record patient information, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Additional responsibilities include assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, educating patients on health management, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.
Qualifications
- Proficient clinical skills, including patient care, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
- Knowledge of healthcare protocols, patient safety standards, and documentation procedures
- Organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in patient charts and care plans
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Colorado
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is a plus
