Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cook/fryer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the culinary field and possess a passion for food preparation. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner
- Monitor food stock and place orders when needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in menu planning and contribute to new dish ideas
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment such as knives and stoves
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant field is a plus
