Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and organizing workspaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
- Support the kitchen staff during busy service periods by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Participate in banquet service by setting up and breaking down dining areas as required.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and provide excellent service.
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations including cooking, cleaning, and food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
