Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the retail sales team, providing coaching, training, and development to enhance performance and customer engagement
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS system management, and safety compliance
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries promptly and resolving issues professionally
Experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math calculations
- Strong leadership skills with experience in training & development, team supervision, and operational management
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Prior experience in grocery or retail stores is preferred; familiarity with cashiering, pricing strategies, and merchandising is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
- Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, and budgeting within a retail setting
