Key Responsibilities
Requirements
- Perform patient care responsibilities as assigned, including identifying self to patient/family and explaining roles of each care delivery team member.
- Send/receive patient medical records and abstract new patient records into EPIC.
- Maintain patient autonomy, confidentiality, and dignity.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. A high school diploma or equivalent and certification/registration as a medical assistant (CCMA/CMA/AAMA/RMA) are preferred. Experience working in a primary care or specialist office is also beneficial.
