This role provides leadership across cloud, on-premises, and development networks, ensuring secure system design, continuous monitoring, incident response, and integration of cybersecurity controls throughout the system lifecycle.
The Cybersecurity Engineer III oversees program performance, coordinates with Government stakeholders, and ensures all activities align with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and applicable cybersecurity standards.

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading and executing all cybersecurity operations, engineering, and compliance activities across cloud, on-premises, and development environments, including maintaining secure architecture, implementing system hardening and baseline configurations, and ensuring security controls throughout the system lifecycle.
- Performs continuous monitoring through SIEM log analysis, conducts vulnerability assessments and remediation (including ACAS and STIG compliance).
- Serves as the technical lead for incident response, including forensic analysis and coordination with external cyber defense organizations.
- Oversees system onboarding, evaluates security impacts of changes, manages access controls and configurations, supports application security, PKI, and third-party risk assessments, ensures compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements, and provides overall program management, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and enforcement of cybersecurity best practices across the enterprise.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant cybersecurity experience
- CISSP, CASP , or equivalent certification required
