Job Summary
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer III (CSE3) to support the Maritime Command and Control (MCCOG) program in The selected candidate will provide advanced cybersecurity engineering, RMF implementation, and system hardening support to ensure compliance with DoD and Navy cybersecurity standards. This role involves designing and implementing security controls, supporting A&A activities, and enhancing system security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls in accordance with RMF requirements.
- Perform system hardening using STIGs and SRGs.
- Support A&A activities including SSP, SAR, and POA&M development.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
- Integrate cybersecurity requirements into system architecture and design.
- Collaborate with ISSOs, ISSOs, and system engineers to ensure compliance.
- Support continuous monitoring and risk management processes.
- Analyze security tools output such as ACAS/Nessus scans.
- Provide technical guidance on cybersecurity best practices and compliance.
Required
- Active Secret Clearance
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent
- 10 years of professional experience with cybersecurity engineering
- Strong knowledge of RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (ACAS/Nessus)
- Security CE or equivalent IAT II certification
- Experience supporting Navy or NAVSEA programs
- Familiarity with eMASS and A&A processes
- Experience with DevSecOps or automation tools
- CISSP or advanced cybersecurity certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
