Job Description Summary Job Description Peebles Control Console Tech Essential Responsibilities Ensure that control room display of data and safety limit annunciation is correct and in accordance with test requirements Participate in test planning efforts and support test in areas of the console, Fadec Monitoring System (FMS), Display Adjustment Panel (DAP) and Portable Data Loader (PDL) operation Maintain required test cell and engine hardware / software documentation Maintain effective communications with customers, support organizations, and team members Investigate, diagnose and correct instrumentation and system malfunctions Assist maintenance and engineering organizations in the maintenance and repair of test facilities Qualifications/Requirements Associate’s Degree in Technical Discipline from an accredited school or institution (Or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing or equivalent quality training) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S): Ability and willingness to work weekend shifts Ability and willingness to work an off shift position - weekend shift / 2nd shift Ability and willingness to work a reasonable expectation of overtime Ability to acquire and maintain a DoD security clearance Desired Characteristics Some experience with hardware / software of control consoles and associated equipment Some knowledge of engine test facilities and associated equipment Strong communication skills Team Player Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker Previous experience working classified programs This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
