The Erlanger Logistics Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the distribution center, ensuring efficient and effective processes that align with organizational goals. This role involves managing teams, optimizing capacity, and maintaining compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) priorities. The leader will focus on driving operational excellence, meeting performance targets, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Lead and manage distribution center daily operations, supporting inventory management, logistics, and order fulfillment. Drive accountability & ensure compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) priorities. Develop and implement strategies to optimize capacity and improve operational efficiency. Coaching & development of Supervisors within an unionized environment, ensuring operational success to meet customers needs Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive initiatives to meet or exceed targets. Lead and coach teams through site daily management Manage and mentor teams to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with organizational objectives. Identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure seamless distribution processes. Execution of FLIGHT DECK fundamentals to drive problem solving Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards. Lead manpower capacity reviews Drive operational projects Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in logistics and manufacturing environment) Plus, a minimum of 5 years logistics and manufacturing environment experience Desired Characteristics Strong Logistics Leadership experience Proven leadership experience in distribution center or supply chain operations. Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and operational processes. Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements. Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
