Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Warehouse Manager to lead and optimize our warehouse operations. In this vital role, you will be in a hands-on Leadership role where you would champion customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the operation. The primary Goal is to ensure the efficient, accurate and safe flow of the warehouse including Safety, Productivity, Training, and overall efficiency. Your leadership will drive process improvements, ensure efficient supply chain management, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence operational excellence and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership for daily operations including scheduling, training, performance reviews, and daily task delegation.
- Manage the end-to-end process, including receiving, quality control, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Promote the company’s Mission, Values, and Vision.
- Champion customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Actively participate in Daily Management meetings, coaching and sharing best practices.
- Support the achievement of facility sales, operating profit, and volume.
- Manage inventory and implement stock management systems to improve flow.
- Lead Safety through training and enforcing safety standards, maintaining a clean facility, and ensuring all equipment (like forklifts) is regularly inspected and maintained.
- Measure and report monthly to Leadership on key metrics and improvement projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business preferred
- Experience: 3 years in a warehouse environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or "lead" role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Safety experience in warehouse or work site environments.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS, ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP), and Microsoft Excel.)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods, as small warehouse managers are frequently present on the floor.
