Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Teacher to join our dynamic team! Qualifications:
- AA, BA/BS Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or a related field
- 2 Years Teaching Early Childhood Experience, or 1 Year Experience in Early Childhood
- Satisfactory Background Check & Physical
- Starting wage is based on education and experience
- Proven experience working with young children in early childhood or preschool settings; experience in private or Head Start programs is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, behavior management for students with special needs, and special education law.
- Ability to develop individualized instruction plans based on IEPs and adapt lessons for diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement, team collaboration, and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Proficiency in educational technology integration, lesson planning software, and standardized testing procedures.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development for literacy, math, social skills, and developmental milestones.
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of children with disabilities, including those with autism, visual impairments, or developmental delays.
- Utilize educational technology tools and learning technology to enhance classroom activities and facilitate individualized instruction.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques tailored for students with special needs.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues on instructional design, lesson planning, and assessment strategies to ensure consistent educational quality.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals, and behavioral or developmental updates.
- Maintain compliance with educational regulations, special education law, and program policies while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
