We’re hiring a Painter in Thomasville, GA and this is an exciting opportunity to join a team where craftsmanship truly matters! In this role, you’ll prep, sandblast, and apply high‑quality protective and decorative coatings, mixing and testing paints to meet exact specifications. You’ll work with detailed paint data sheets, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and help ensure every finished product meets our high safety and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning contaminants, taping off protected areas, and performing sandblasting as needed.
- Apply high‑quality protective and decorative paint finishes to a variety of products, ensuring all work meets detailed specifications.
- Formulate, test, mix, and apply liquid coatings in accordance with project and manufacturer requirements.
- Read, interpret, and follow paint specifications and product data sheets from multiple paint manufacturers.
- Select, mix, and adjust paint materials to achieve proper color, consistency, and performance based on job specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all paint equipment and tools are kept in safe, reliable working condition.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and product‑quality guidelines to ensure a safe environment and top-tier finished results.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of experience in industrial painting
- Experience mixing paint preferred
- Experience sandblasting preferred
- Brings a positive, respectful attitude to the team, fostering cooperation and a work environment where everyone can succeed.
