The Engineering Leadership Development Program is a two-year program consisting of three rotational assignments aligned with real business priorities across Xylem. Participants gain exposure to multiple engineering disciplines such as Electrical Engineering, Hardware Electronics, Systems Engineering, Power Electronics, Manufacturing Engineering, Software, Firmware, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, and more. Upon completion, graduates are well‑positioned for placement into impactful full‑time engineering roles across the organization.

As an ELDP participant, you will:
- Execute assigned tasks and projects aligned with the objectives of each program rotation.
- Deliver high‑quality work on schedule, within budget, and with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrate solid understanding and application of engineering principles within a business environment.
- Apply strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to real engineering challenges.
- Recommend new analytical approaches, methodologies, or improvements within your area of responsibility.
- Complete all required program trainings.
- Actively participate in Xylem Watermark community engagement activities.
We are looking for driven individuals who demonstrate both technical capability and leadership potential.
Required
- Bachelor´s degree in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Electronics/Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Software Engineering, Firmware Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3.2/4.0 GPA overall.
- Strong commitment to a technology‑focused career and genuine passion for engineering.
- Demonstrated analytical and critical‑thinking capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead and work effectively in team environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior internship, co‑op, or research experience is required.
- Extra academic experience is preferred.
- The next ELDP cohort begins July 2026.
